Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. The parents of Matthew Matt James include Manny James, and Patty James. His mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 from Sanderson High School. In 2015, James earned the Bachelor of Economics degree at Wake Forest University. James became famous when he was a Reality Star in The Bachelorette. James was chosen in 2020 to be the next bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, being the show's first African American male star. The show premiered later in the year. James would be a perfect match for the job as his height, beauty and physique are humorous. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his lover at the conclusion of the season. James teamed up with famous dancer Arnold in 2021 and competed in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold took 12th place.
